What is ShowConnect?
ShowConnect is a community-based Event Management System (EMS) for equestrian shows and events. It’s designed to manage the full lifecycle of an event with modules for event setup, registration, entry management, scheduling, scoring, accounting, payments, communication, reporting, and more.
While ShowConnect is not an online entry system, it allows for manual entries and imports from third-party platforms, such as USEA Xentry, making it adaptable to your preferred entry workflow.
Who runs ShowConnect?
The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is the organizational steward of the ShowConnect platform. The system is being developed in partnership with the broader eventing community — including organizers, secretaries, scorers, and officials — with the goal of allowing partners and users to help drive development priorities over time.
Why ShowConnect Event Management System?
The USEA Board of Governors tasked the association with evaluating the market for a modern, reliable, and cost-effective EMS. After exploring existing options, it became clear that developing a new platform from the ground up — with flexibility, affordability, and longevity in mind — was the best long-term solution. ShowConnect is built to meet today’s needs and adapt to the future of eventing.
Does the software have all the features I need?
ShowConnect was designed with input from a wide range of event professionals. While every show runs a little differently, the system includes everything required to operate an event — from registration to scoring — and also offers advanced tools that can be used (or not) based on your needs. The USEA is committed to ongoing updates based on user feedback to ensure the platform continues to evolve and serve its community well.
What does this system deliver that isn’t already in the market?
ShowConnect is a modern, web-based EMS focused on accessibility, real-time responsiveness, and community stewardship. In addition to core features like scheduling and scoring, it offers:

Will ShowConnect be required at all USEA recognized events?
No. While ShowConnect is available to all USEA-recognized events and educational activities, it is not mandatory. The system is being developed to serve events that want a more affordable and modern option. Existing vendors and secretary services are welcome to continue supporting events with their current tools.
What is the cost to use Show Connect?
ShowConnect is free to all USEA-recognized events and educational activities. The platform is funded through the support of the riders and events that use it — not through general USEA membership dues.
What type of support will ShowConnect provide?
